HIVresistanceWeb's "HIV Drug & Mutation Reference Guide" software provides a convenient and comprehensive source of information regarding the relationships between key and common genotypic mutations and resistance to approved ARV drugs:
RT mutations associated with resistance to each available NRTI
RT mutations associated with resistance to each available NNRTI
Protease mutations associated with resistance to each available PI
Drug- and mutation-specific annotations
Important note on methods: classification of resistance-associated mutations (e.g., high-level resistance, low-level resistance) is determined by consensus of the HIVresistanceWebEditorial Board, on the basis of published literature correlating genotype and treatment history, genotype and phenotype, and genotype and clinical outcome. Updated versions of HIVresistanceWeb's "HIV Drug & Mutation Reference Guide" software will be made available as dictated by the evolving literature.
